On the 28.2.2015 an excellent seminar was held in the Wing Tsun and Escrima academy in Velbert, that was about the real feasibility of defenses against knife / firearm scenarios. There was a theoretical and a practical part. Especially in the practical part it was demonstrated in a superb way, how you can violate a as a trained attacker with a knife or gun with simple methods. Sifu Schüssler spoke about the ways to counter these attacks. The participants were made aware, what is possible according to the laws of nature.
It was very interesting what was contributed to the seminar by participants from different systems from their experience. It was demonstrated with the help of real sharp weapons how life-threatening risks are caused by non-staged situations with an unknown armed attacker. There were questions and suggestions demonstrated and possibilities discussed. Thank you, Marcus, you as usual did an outstanding job.
