On Saturday, October 18/2014, the event was opened by (Sifu/Master) Marcus Schüssler with a short speech in multiple languages, also to bias in the participants on the topic of ‚transitioning the concepts of Latosa-Escrima into the area of law enforcement/security‘. This subject was suggested by a participant from last year’s seminar who is also active in the south of Germany in law enforcement. Through the seminar promotion multiple participants from law enforcement took part in order to get a constructive input for their own educational forthcoming.
The structure of the seminar was the standard procedure by Grand Master Latosa: first physical basic tools had been developed, which stretched over two-thirds of the seminar. In the last third these tools were merged through different scenarios by the participants automatically and brought to life, so that the participants received a feeling, how the logic of technique as well as the teaching in the Escrima-Concepts is made up.
All participants expressed very pleased about their own training results and had been like last year again prompted to propose topics for the seminar in the next year.
